Dont you agree that kids just don't understand?

Yep!! However, I remember being a kid and not understanding too, so I try to be patient. No matter how much we explain things, it won't help them understand any more. They think we are old and stupid.

No, I can't say I agree with you. My 11-year old understands quite a lot of things. He is pretty insightful and smart. Does he understand everything? No, of course not! But then again, neither do I.
If we disagree on an important issue, I will pull rank and go with my decision based on my understanding because I'm the mom.

I think most kids understand fine- what they lack sometimes is the capability to do whats right...
I call it being human- well in a younger form.
They will eventually learn when they have kids of their own. Until then- good luck.
But let me also say -there are very good kids who make bad choices sometimes. But they arent bad....

Yes I do. Wasn't that an interesting read? I thought the same thing at that age too. Now I understand they just wanted a better life for me and for me to learn from their mistakes.

kids try to understand. but they're still kids and trying to learn.they're growing up. so if parents raised their kids well they'll grow up well. and so will their children. parents should back off once in a while.

no.I think alot of children understand alot of things,but sometimes they lack the language to interpret how they may feel,view things,see things or perceive things to be.
