There are two ways to reduce the redness of a blemish without make-up:
Visine eye drops - put it on the spot and leave it on. Whatever takes the redness out of your eyes takes it out of the spot too.
Noxema face cream - Yes, the kind in the big blue tub. Actually, try to get a generic brand of this because, for some reason, the generics tend to work better. I believe it is because they put more menthol in them.
Anyway, dab a blob of this on the spot for at least 5-10 minutes or for as long as you have time. The longer, the better. I have left it on overnight before. It will take the redness out too.
Both of these work better than anything I have ever tried. Of course, the visine is faster, but overall, I think the Noxema gets more redness out. It just takes longer. Hope this helps.
(Oh, and I know you said no make-up, but if you have fair to medium skin tone and can find Sally Hanson No Color Concealer Stick, it blends into your skin so well that you cannot tell you are wearing it. Seriously. It's Awesome.)

The best way to prevent blemishes alltogether is to drink lots of water, don't eat fried foods or alot of sugary foods (chocolate, etc.)- instead eat healthy like vegetables, etc., regular exercise (walks, etc.), wash your face with really hot water by taking a shower 2 times a day or just in the sink 2-3 times a day and use Differin Gel once daily. Also taking Spiranolactone pills has also helped clear up all my acne in the past - but why not use the topical (Differin Gel) instead - especially when you prefer not to take a oral drug & it works just as good - Differin Gel has stopped all of my acne altogether!
I also noticed that in the past when I used to use certain hair mousses, hair sprays and gels it would irritate my face - and sometimes cause pimples, also certain make-up will irritate your skin - especially if you have really sensitive skin, like I do.
Simple things such as - don't put your hands on your face - it can cause pimples (from bacteria on your hands) - Even if you just washed your hands and your hands are clean - other people may not be clean who have previously touched the same surfaces that you do (doors, etc.) and then touch you face unknowingly, and the bacteria sometimes will transfers into a pimple. So wash your hands regularly and try not to touch your face.
Also don't pick your pimples no matter what - it will cause scars! - give all of the above a chance to work instead.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Magic??? You are clearly a guy with a zit and don't want to use "make up." Get some tinted clearasil then and put some of that on it. It's not going to conceal it completely, but it will make it a bit less obvious.

just try to forget about them until you're able to get a good blemish fighting routine. ask your mom about it, and show her where you are breaking out. something that works really well: Paula's Choice.
I have acne, and i really did think EVERYONE saw them. but then i was talking with one of my friends that i have been friends with for years, and spotted some acne breakouts on her forehead. i didn't notice them until i had been her friend for 4 years! so seriously, don't worry about it that much.
also, a good tip for when you get something for your acne, REMEMBER to use it twice a day, or else it wont do anything for you
hope this helps! :) gl
