The master cylinder bolts to the booster, not too hard to change especially if the master was just put on.

The brake booster is located on the firewall under hood drivers side connected to the master cylinder install is easy

behind the master cylinder it is called a hydrovack, there is 4 bolts under the dash right by steering coulem on the inside of car take those lose then the booster comes off the out side,

That model has a vaccum line going to the booster, BEHIND the master cylinder. If it is bad, your breaks will work fine, but be very hard to press the pedal, as if the engine is not running. Check the vaccum line - make sure it does in fact have good suction!

if the brake booster is bad then the brake pedal will be real hard, and also you might have fluid, dripping on the inside of the firewall just above the brake pedal..but if they replaced the m/cly. and your brakes are still soft, or have pedal sometimes, then more than likely, bad m/cylinder or they didn't bleed the system good, possibility of air in lines...how exactly does you brake pedal feel.

i own a shop,and its the big round black thing that the master cylinder bolts to,and no its not real hard to out on if you have the right tools to work with,but you might want to have it done it would probably be faster,good luck with it ,i hope this help,s.

it is attached to the master cylinder and the firewall under the hood. I would have them check for vacuum leaks first.

master cylinder is in front of booster...if u dont know where booster is, dont try and fix it yourself, my friend says u could put yourself in danger also othyer people.
