I suffered a severe motocross accident two years ago. My shoulder was severely dislocated. The labram was torn, the rotator cuff was totolly torn, the axillary nerve was severely stretched, the greater tuberosity and part on the shoulder was chipped into pieces. The surgeon told me I'd never lift my arm again, but I can raise it overhead. Anyone know how long the nerves can continue to heal?

Holy crap! I'm surprised too. That's pretty amazing. I fully dislocated my right shoulder snowboarding about 12 years ago and it still bothers me. Sounds like yours is way worse. Good luck!

It relies upon how a lot of a separation. If its a grade 3 sep then which may be the more severe. this suggests there change into actual breaking of the ligaments and favor surgical reconstruction. this can reason the shoulder not in any respect to be really an identical. do not get me incorrect even with the actuality that, continuously dislocations and reduce grade separations can compound and create arthritic joints or continual discomfort.
