AFL is the bomb! I live in California and am a big Pies fan. I get to watch a game or two a week during the home & away season, plus half the final games.
January of 2006 I got to attend the AFL exhibition (Swans vs. Roos) at UCLA during the G'day LA Australian cultural festival on Los Angeles. That was amazing. Even got to chat with Barry Hall for a few minutes :-)
Can't wait to make a trip down under one of these days.
AFL rules!!

Actually, I just looked it up about 2 hours ago. I had no clue what it was; however, I did know that it wasn't rugby. I still think rugby is better now that I've done a little research.

Yah, its good entertainment in the off season. I love the refs in the end zone who wave the flags at attention after a good kick!!

In the early years of ESPN they carried it.
Ray Lewis copied the dance of the all blacks (not racist, it refers to their uniforms I think.)
