The great playright , George Bernard Shaw, wrote a wonderful play called "Saint Joan". It is a drama based on the life of Joan of Arc. He also wrote a long introduction to the play, outlining his view of Joan in history. You can find it in the library, and it is available in paperback.

Here is a description: . Saint Joan is a 1923 play by Irishman George Bernard Shaw written shortly after the Roman Catholic Church canonized Joan of Arc. It is a dramatization based on what is known of her life and on the substantial records of her trial.

Mark Twain wrote a fictional account of the life of Joan of Arc, entitled "Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc" (supposedly written by her page, but actually it was a device to relate the story of Joan in a dramatic form. Here is a review of the book:

In Joan of Arc, Mark Twain has written a riveting and remarkably accurate biography of the life and mission of one of God's great saints. Twain labored for more than 12 years bringing Joan's story to life, and (those who) assume that the resulting book is a dry, scholarly work will be delighted to find a sparkling narrative filled with reverence and admiration. Joan of Arc follows the path of a young woman who, with nothing but an unshakable faith in God, rose from peasant surroundings to lead the armies of France to victory against England - ultimately paying for that victory with her life.
