Since when is Peace not the best idea of all?

You're a psycho. You don't have the guts, the heart, or the brains for peace. Thank God most people aren't like you.

I don't know what "baiting" means, but I have not posted anything hateful here. My comments are available for all to see.

articchick, your comment was directed to ME, not "my kind". So are you withdrawing your comment that I am hateful?

Because the anti-war movements ideas are not simple like Bushs "bring em on" ideas. They dont like anything too complicated, hurts their brains.

Let's see how far peace, love, flowers, and cute puppies get you with an enemy who wants to slaughter you, your family, your culture ... just because you are different from him.

For the past 4 years the anti-war movement has reveled in throwing childish insults at President Bush but they have given ZERO alternative plans of action. Cutting and running is not action ... it is the absence of leadership and action. Cutting and running (or "redeploying" as the gutless left like to call it) is the same as saying "we don't have the stomach for what it takes to win, so we'll quit".

Liberals never wanted to win this war. From the first day our boots hit the ground, the democrats already had a strategy that any American death was too many. We understand that you libs have no idea what a war is like. But being an obstacle to victory is treason.

Because to some people, walking away from Iraq is just not in ANYONES best interest.

I respect your opinion - why can't you respect mine? Isn't it your side who's always preaching about acceptance and tolerance? Yet I've seen you post some pretty hateful, baiting "questions" on here.

You shouldn't be so angry - you will never achieve internal peace carrying all that anger around.

Try yoga.

Look at the answer below me - that's exactly what I mean about hypocrisy. Nice show of open-mindedness, tolerance, acceptance of diversity, all those "values" you guys love to go on and on about, yet have such a difficult time putting into practice.

Have a nice night.

We say it simply because it is true.

"Cut and run" is not an acceptable plan - and "redeployment" is just a euphemism for "cut and run."

Peace is most certainly the "best idea of all." No one needs to be reminded of this self-evident fact.
How we achieve peace is the concern.

The anti-war movement must not be so unrealistic and idealistic - peace is a great idea, but until it is achieved, it won't stop the terror, slaughter and indiscriminate murder committed by the Islamic radicals. Surely you can agree that our failure to effectively respond in the past has only resulted in more violence, finally culminating in the events of 9/11.

17 failed UN resolutions was a chance for peace, but as usual the UN failed. Peace was given a chance and Saddam denied them access. I respect others exercising free speech, but hate speech and blatant lies supplied by Hanoi Jane and the Hollywood elite is laughable.

because "peace' is not what you anti war movement protesters want. what you want is america to be timid and passive and an easy target for our enemies.

your whole purpose is to undermine our military's efforts and boost our enemy's morale.

this doesn't mean i'm a "bush loyalist" it means i'm an american and i'm on america's side.

i may not agree with this war or with bush, but being a former marine myself, i know what those boys are going through and i know nothing irritates them more than you living room commandos telling them how to fight a war. you'd probably piss your pants and be crying for your mommy if you were in their shoes right now.

Hartman is ridiculous. No stomach for battle? How irrelevant you and your opinions are.
The desire to invade, attack and kill innocents in a country that never attacked us is not brave. IT is cowardly. Especially a country like Iraq that can't match us equipment wise.
I'm sure you must think it is brave also Hartman to take candy from little kids.

The Republicans (Loyalists/Nationalists) say the anti-war movement has no ideas yet in the same sentence they will start to complain of the horrors Iraq is doomed to experience if we leave. ( A Democratic IDEA!)It is funny that when they bring it up they somehow forgot all the horrors the US caused by invading them in the first place.

It's unbelievable. They are so willing to follow a car off a cliff in order to avoid being called "flip-flopper".

Uncontested blind loyalty is the most dangerous thing in the world.

That's not true. Everybody knows these people do have an idea, only 1. That idea is to surrender to Islamofascism.

Because they think that sticking to a terrible idea is somehow a good idea.

The world is full of good and evil, and the balance between the two makes the dynamics of American politics.

Cons are definitely the worse kind of evil in history. they are made from 30% population of uneducated, selfish, arrogant, vicious small business owners and farmers and their unemployed children, not all belong to Christian rights.
