I delete my temporary internet files and cookies all the time. I have never lost my favorites.

no, they are only temporary files that the computer uses to get there faster. but if it's not cleaned out occasionally, it gets too full and slows the computer down, and will affect getting on sites that you normally can. clear your cache and it will all work better.

No, if you want to delete links in favorites you need to delte it by clicking favorites (ie 6.x) or Add favorites and select oraganise favorites to delete.
