Work is stressful. Whether it is annoying co-workers, rude bosses, or just retarded customers, sometimes you feel like screaming and pulling out your hair.
There are a number of ways to cool down:
1. Take a break: whether to the bathroom, for a cigarette, for a brisk walk around the block, or to just sit at your desk. Then take a few deep breaths and concentrate on the fact that this is JUST WORK and it should allow yourself to get into a stress free zone.
Why try not to let it get to you? Stress is a known causes of numerous things including depression, cancer and other diseases.. the more stressed you become, the more havoc it causes in your body.
2. Talk to a friend the first chance you get OUTSIDE of work! I know sometimes it seems more satisfying to complain to someone at work, but you would be surprised at how cut throat people can be, and pretty soon your vents to the person will be common knowledge to everyone. So when you are out to lunch, call a buddy and complain and get it off your chest.
3. Ok, this has worked for me a few times, and I know it sounds a little mean, but I imagine the person or thing causing me stress in interesting imaginative situations to make you laugh and destress. For example: there was this very annoying a rude, nasty guy at work and I imagined he was a prick because he went home to a girlfriend that beat him every night. I also imagined he was a hermit and that no one talked to him in his personal life, that was why he was like that.. as odd as it sounds, it made me feel better.
Work can be so stressful sometimes, but if you put your best face forward and act in a professional manner (and all that means is that you don't explode or ***** to the next person) you will definitely be noticed and pretty soon you will be promoted or given a raise.
If all else fails, if the stress is really getting to you, it might be worth looking into another job. I know sometimes thats not an option for some people, but remember, stress effects your mind and body and you want to keep yourself healthy!
Good luck babe!

I usually go for a walk, think of pleasant things and then go back and try to deal with what is making me angry. Just happened to me on Saturday, people can be so rotten and things can go so wrong. You just have to let go sometimes. Best wishes. =)
