the Defense always has to show up but for sure I'd rank Grossman worst SuperBowl starting QB of all time. The other QB's who had bad performances played against great defenses and Grossman should not even finished the season as the starter. He will be looked back upon this season as the great white hope. Only Quincy Carter would have played worse if his defense ever got him that far.

No way. Rex played like the player he is, and every Bears fan knows it. Y'all have been pretending he doesn't suck all year long, but he does. If the Bears had a strong quarterback with a head on his shoulders, they might not have stopped the Colts from scoring on offense, but they could have held them to 24 or less and could have scored another 10 of their own, eking out a win.
Of course, I'm glad they didn't, because I'm happy to see the Colts win, and because Bears fans are among the most intolerable boors in the NFL.

Psychological defeat deflates the egos of the team the gets behind....the pressure to win is so great the the players have degraded psyches as the time passes and the score changes for the worse or fails to change..if you noticed this it was so thick you could cut it with a knife. you could feel the loss of motivation with every passing tick of the clock. the bears ego defalted with each passing moment exponentially according to the passing of time...
