It's been really cold lately and i was just wondering if there are any chances of me getting oit of school.

Don't count on it sweetie. I think it's mostly for snow fall, not for temperature. But keep on praying for that day off, my kids are.

I'm 31 years old and have live in Chicago my whole life and have NEVER gotten a snow day or cold day. I've attended both Chicago Public and catholic school. Suburban school will sometimes close but city school usually only close if there's some kind of damage to the school like the roof or the heating. Sorry. : (

actually most of the schools closed today because it was -14

When I was in elementary/high school, they told us when it came to temperature, if the buses don't start, no school. If they do start, then school.
