government class../war and peace?

Question

Ok. I had to choose something that needs to be changed, then i had to say why it needed to be changed, and how. after that, i had to think about the obstacles. Now i have to FIND FACTS about the subject. Obviously, war and peace, is what i chose. I don't want this to have too many "bad words" or too many "great words" I don't want to under, or over do it...thanks!

I believe that the world should enter an eternal peace. Peace and harmony would solve all problems, however, this event will never occur. You hear people trying to bring world peace, but regardless of how they try, this simply won't happen. This world can't enter peace, unless everyone works together to bring peace. The problem is getting the world to cooperate in such a manner. It's nearly impossible, because you can't convince anyone to change. If school administrators, can't get a whole high school to have a liking to all of the school population consisting of a faculty, and student body, then you can't get the world

to change. If someone offends you, you aren't going to smile and appreciate it. Whether it'd be premeditated, or a spontaneous action, chances are, words would be spoken, hurt feelings are still hurt feelings. This small action, may cause a fight, which, in my belief is a very small "war" but still a conflict. A conflict will cause a hatred in alot of circumstances, and hatred causes enemies. If this peace and love we long for, won't happen, then what will? This war that has already been spoken of. This never-ending war that has already been spoken of. Another reason why war will always be the superior motive of this world, is because the world cannot agree. Racism will never end. There are too many racist people whome make up this world. Whether it'd be whites hating blacks, Islam hating muslims___examples please!. Cultural views, hatred is one of our biggest problems, in all dimensions possible. Whether people realize it or not. If we had no hatred, then we would be perfect in a

judging factor. This problem really does need to be changed. If we could get everyone on Earth to change their views, and help others, we could have peace. The actuallity of this is that it will never happen, some people were raised to hate, others learn to hate, yet others are pushed to hate, through abuse, or mistreatment. Either route you attempt to take, you're going to end up with only one answer. There would have to be peace in every mans' heart in order to have peace, and most everyone has some sort of hatred in their heart for someone or something. War is impossible to overcome, although it should be the dream of everyone.

Okay,
The first thing you might think about doing is to change your topic. World Peace is just too impossible. One great topic for your assignment would be global warming. There is a lot of information on this topic and would make a great paper (regardless of length).
One way you could address the problem would be to say something like,
"Global warming is causing dramatic changes to the Earth's eco-system. Raising sea levels and melting glaciers have the potential to cause all kinds of problems for people and animals all over the world. One way that we could go about changing this would be to reduce the worlds dependence on fossil fuels......."
