The first one is 900 and the second one is 750. I probably would play games like Warcraft 3 and all. I'm not sure if 288 MB of shared memory would be way better than 128 MB of shared memory. Does 2GB of RAM help the laptop perform much better than 1GB of RAM for Vista Premium?

Ahh, Warcraft. Story of my boyfriend's life.:-)

Good thing I am a computer wonk, or he wouldn't be playing at all.

I would recommend having a custom built computer, but if that is not an option:

Memory is not a problem for you. You need graphics. A major video card to keep you running smoothly. Unless you will be using many other programs at the same time as Warcraft, you don't need to worry too much about memory. If you have a computer now, I would also recommend waiting a while before purchasing Vista. Microsoft is very bad about releasing products before they get the bugs out. I have messed with it some in my A+ Class, and have already found things that are going to need to be fixed.

I suggest against playing games on Vista, some games don't work that well with it yet.

Anyway, Vista counts the video ram differently. Plus Vista is a ram hog, so the more ram you can feed it, the better.

Overall though, I think the circuit city one is better, just add more ram to it afterwards. You can easily add ram, but video ram on integrated chips requires replacing the motherboard, which is quite expensive.

The one for 900 hundred is better, but if u want to play games the other one has a bigger screen and it proabably has room for more ram. The more RAM u have the better.
