for our grandbabies first birthday.. Yes, I said make.. Toys, clothes always seem to be the same ole same ole. Wanna do something different.. I made her a ducky fleece no sew blanket for Christmas.. She will be walking soon .All suggestions would be appreciated.. :)

You could make a photo collection of her first year, starting with photos taken in the hospital and move up from there- go to the dollar store and buy one of those large frames that have squares/circles for each photo and put the photos in that!Or you could start a scrap book also for her!

Maybe you could work on a "Memory Quilt" as she grows. Each time she grows onto a new size, take a couple of her out-grown things and make them into quilt pieces and add them to the quilt. Keep notes about each piece in the quilt, (what item of clothing it came from and how old she was when she wore it, etc)That would be a really unique and cherished gift for her after she's grown.

Beanies are cute. There's nothing wrong with clothes. Crotched baby beanies are always apprciated.
