Make sure the wet wood stays far away from the house. Bugs of all sorts love wet wood. You don't want roaches or termites to get into your house. When it is dry enough to burn, then check it well for insects before you bring it in for the fireplace. You should have your wood pile elevated enough that it won't get soaked.

stack it properly to dry it out and burn it in your fireplace or use it for a fire in the backyard. Nobody will want to buy it if it's wet and rotting, get it off the ground by using pallets or some other type of surface, stack it and cover it so it will dry out and be burnable. I don't know if the landfill will want to buy it but they may take if for free. Kind of a waste though if it isn't already rotten.

cover the top of the pile with a tarp so it doesn't get more exposure to water , let the surrounding air dry it then use it for firewood or set a firepit in your back yard and invite the neighbors over for a marshmellow roast

Kevin Costner may buy the wood for a new boat in Waterworld II.
You know, he would pay beaucoup for a tree.

You can let it dry out and use it for forewood, or you can use it as is for a compost pile.
