I am 14, and I want to be a beatmaker for rap/r&b artists. I havent been making beats that long. But I dont want to bother trying if they are not good, so will you listen to them and tell me what you think?
**I have to use a demo program and a computer keyboard, so if you dont like the quality or something its not my fault, I do the best I have with what I have.**

FL Studio is what I use... as well as Ableton Live...

Since you are 14 I doubt you have the money for an MPC... but those are great too.

If you want, there are great sequencers by Boss and Korg.

But for REAL originality I suggest doing something creative... doing something quirky. I like to make loops with whatever sounds I can get a hold of, throw a beat over it, and let the improvising begin...

It is more experimental music that I tend to do (or rather what I posted there), but I also do trip-hop and psy-hop IDM stuff.
