Have you seen one? What was your experience like?

Who is the Angel of Death if there is one?

There was one night i was trying to sleep and I looked over and beside my bed there was a girl in a black cloak standing there smiling at me but it was a really evil grin. her face was white and her eyes black. I couldnt move or speak and I was struggling, she kept smiling as if she was enjoying my pain. She was there for a few minutes and when she dissappeared my whole body was sore and if felt like there had been pressure like something holding me down.

has anyone else seen something like this ?? I am sure it wasnt a dream because I didnt wake up after she left I just got out of bed.

in chinese mythology, this symptom is known as "Ghost Pressing Down On You." Whereby a spirit is said to be lying ontop of your body when u sleep. Your body will not be able to move and u can't speak. But there are some instances when people are able to shout out agressively which will frighten off the spirit.

Cause of it? The spirit might be the previous owner of the house, or you might have agitated it accidentally.

Maybe you can seek assistence of a priest regarding this inccident, if not maybe an exorcist.

I'd say you were dreaming. Dreams can be short lived and very vivid. But I must say if it was the Angel of Death and it wanted you, then you would have been gone already. I work as a Nurse and have seen hundreds of people die.
On several accounts I and witnesses have seen a dark shadow in the room prior to death. I have also witnessed the soon to be departed talking with someone, that just wasn't there. So I don't make any claims that there is no "Angel of Death". But I also know if it's your time to go you will. So live life and enjoy each day like it's your last one. Chances are it won't be but it will
make each day a happier one for you and those around you.

There are two official Angels of Death. One is male, the other is female. The female one gave up the office because she couldnt take it any more a few thousand years ago. Since then the male one has been doing everything all the time.

Now however the male one has been given some new assignments to do that interfere with the general taking of souls, and the female one has been pretty much forced back into work. She is NOT happy with that.

However, she is also very attracted to psychically strong people, so she may have appeared as a social visit. She also has an extremely strong libido and and habit of being too sadistic at times too, so be careful if you end up in a conversation with her... You may end up being accidentally tortured to death to satisfy her cravings...

The Angel of Death's actual name is Azrael. Azrael is considered to be the loneliest Angel of all because of what (s)he represents. All people, in some form, fear Azrael, but this Angel is sent to help the person to cross over.

I do not believe that you have actually seen Azrael, because legend has it, you will only see this Angel when your time has come and the Angel has arrived to "cross you over" safely into God/dess' hands.

My belief, in what you have described, is that you indeed did have a sinister visitation. Another legend is that if you leave a small light on in the room you are in, nothing sinister will be able to visit you because you have a light around you (as in "go into the light").

I have had a similar experience. It was not a little girl, it was more like a man spirit. His eyes were black and he was wearing a blackcloak/ NOT KIDDING! I tried to speak the name of Jesus, but could not as it had a hold of my larynx. I do not believe it to be the angel of death, but it was an evil spirit. What you saw was also evil. Pray before you go to bed and speak the name of Jesus out loud.

The circumstances does not matter but i could of swore I saw this person dressed in black with black wings standing on a branch of a tree looking at me. In fact quite a few people have reported this citing after something nbad has occurred. Its up to what you believe really. If you believe in paranormal activity or not

Don't know really. In any case, just because it is a spirit doesn't mean you have to be helpless. Get over the "deer caught in the headlights" feeling and get some gumption. Usually, these types want something. The sooner you find out what it is, the sooner you will know. You don't always have to be accommodating though. If your answer to it is a firm "no" usually they will take the hint unless they are total morons. Just because they are spirits doesn't mean you have to give in if you get my meaning.

What that was, was a half a dream. you woke up, but not fully. the reason you felt like something was holding you down was your body did not fully wake up, it was still in that sleeping stage. its kind of hard to believe but i promise you, it wasnt anything spiritual. and then the angel beside was most likely part of your dream.
