In your third week implantation occurs. Some women may not have any bleeding. Sometimes women notice spotting and confuse it with bleeding or they may bleed a very small amount. The following week is your missed period. Some women vary so not all women experience things the same. Also, it may be possible to take the test and it come back positive but not as often. However, if you have taken the test and it comes back negative you may have to wait another week. Usually week 4 is when you noticed you missed your period. I noticed right away because I was moodier than usual and had very very slight nausea w/o vomitting. Also had a runny nose and clogged ears. It was close to when I was supposed to start. I didn't get morning sickness until week 10 and it stopped at 12. You may also notice swollen or tender breast similar to when you are about ready to start. ovulation and conception occurs at week 2. You may not have any signs, but for many women it is almost similar to starting.

14 weeks and 2 days pregnant.

I had no signs at all at 3 weeks. Other than a missed period my first sign was spot bleeding at 5 weeks which was very light and could have been missed. Then after that I start feeling nauseous at 6 weeks and this lasted until I was 12 weeks. It's different with everyone.

I also had a runny nose, and no other signs of a cold coming on. I remember at exactly 3 weeks (before I knew for sure) I kept having weird "twinges" about 5 inches below my belly button. My breasts hurt, but I thought it was just a sign of my oncoming period. Also, I was unusually tired, I remember napping a couple times, when I NEVER did that before I was pregnant. Hope this is helpful to you!

The signs are very vague and could by symptoms of many things. Other people here have mentioned a few, but, the most accurate way to tell wether you are pregnant is to either wait to see wether you get a period when it is due or to have a pregnancy test (either conducted by a doctor or a do it yourself at home test!).

It's hard to tell the difference between being pregnant and PMS at this stage. Wait until you've missed your period and then take a test. I thought I had bad PMS about 4 months ago...turns out I was pregnant. Go figure!

When I was at about 3 weeks I started getting horrible horrible cramps. I thought for sure I was about to start my period, but it never happened. Plus, my legs were very restless at night when I was trying to sleep. Signs are different for each person, but that early on there really isn't much to go by. They usually say normal pre-menstrual symptoms are about the same (tender breasts, cramps, sometimes spotting.)

I just knew I was pregnant. My nipples were quite sensitive and I just felt different. I also went off coffee and started drinking tea, which I couldn't normally stand. the smell of eggs turned my stomach and raw meat was definitely out.
