eyeline upper or lower?

Which do you prefer eyeliner to be...upper lid or under the eye or both? What looks good to you?

Try liner on your upperlid it will maximize you eyes. If you are stuck on lower eye do not do it inside your eye. Try just dabbing your eye pencil between eyelashes. I personally pull up my upper lid and apply it only at the lash line none higher then you cannot tell your wearing eyeliner.

Definitely UPPER. I only do my lower with shadow (applied with a brush) when I'm really getting dressed up and going for a smoky eye evening look. Doing the upper gives you a defined fresh look.... but lining the bottom with liner looks harsh and cheap. The terms cheesy, dated, and tacky all come to mind...

I wear it only on the top for day wear and for the evenings I line the top and bottom. Lining the whole eye tends to be more dramatic and so I try to keep it to a minimum for a nice occasion.

I only wear it under the eye because I have really small eyelids so it always looks like I have black eyeshadow on.

The bottom is the best way to make sure you dont look like a dork. if you put it on the top you have to make sure you have a really steady hand and accuracy.

i use it on my upper, then a very light line on the lower, on the outer edge, but not all the way across

Both top and bottom but not so thick on the bottom and smudge it a bit.

i`ve heard that liner on the bottom makes your eyes look smaller while liner on the top makes them "pop"
