I need to write an essay about something interesting. It doesnt have to be true, but it can't be far-fetched. You know - something that could happen. Any ideas?

I would have to go along with Arthur N, but I would also add what do you dream about while you're awake? What would you have done to change history? Or you could write an essay on all the people who spend so much time in Y! answers, NOT on porn sites, or in chat rooms, or playing games, not on myspace, etc. Many people spend so much time in here we keep reconizing each other. We sometimes help, sometimes say the wrong things, we joke, socialize, and learn. It's a wierd world in here. It could make for a very interesting essay if told about it's many facets

Personally I have always found it insteresting to explore different possibilities either for the future or the past. Try righting your report about a time in history that changed the course of world events and then imagine what would have happened if the event didn't happen. Hope this helps.

there is so many topics out there you can write essays on.I have to ask you what subject sticks out in your mind and waiting to come out. be passionate and be brave. The essay you write depends what really drives you and motivates you. ideas could range from families or day to day stuff. or maybe a biography on someone or something in the entertainment industry. or it could be something philosophical you want to talk off your chest. good luck

Love is always something good to write about. Think of the "human heart" and well mostly humanity. How one can act so differently when such feelings are present in them. Think of how even the bitterest things seem so sweet.
Good luck.

George Orwell revisited. As good as things are, this IS 1984.
