What did I do? We are having financial issues and she feels I am always mad at her or yelling at her. It is more complicated then that but, I do not abuse her. In fact I care very much about her I even want to give her the tax return to help her out ,she says no. I am not trying to paint this picture that I am a great husband but, I want my marriage to work. I don't want to be used though.

Sounds like she's being a bit unreasonable if she won't even discuss the problem with you. But if you can afford it, I would at least be the bigger person and pay her health insurance for a few months. Give her the chance to get established - no one deserves to go without health care. I'd cancel the car insurance, though.

Be careful with this. In some states, if she files for divorce she can get a court order requiring you to keep the policies in effect. Perhaps you're thinking about not paying it to get her to talk to you??? If there are kids involved, definitely pay it. Before taking her off the policy ask a lawyer. You could dig yourself into a bigger hole if you do the wrong thing. Especially if there are children that would be affected. Also, keep in mind there may still be a chance of reconciliation. Maybe she just needs some time and space to think.

Ummmmm. It is touching that you would ask this, but this is a personal choice question. Do YOU feel that you should keep paying? YOU are the only one that knows the full story here. Some people do decide to live like this after divorce / separation, yet others will not.

Nope, then she'll think that she can just get by with leaving you. Grow a pair and act like a man! Don't take this crap from her! Cancel those policies ASAP! She needs to grow up and start paying her own way if she's going to take the easy way out. Who cares if she needs help? It's called getting a job and supporting herself. If you have kids, just pay child support and don't help her out with any of her personal issues. Put that foot down and leave it down!

Well, what state do you live ing? I believe as long as you are married you are liable to pay it. And when one files for divorce you may still need to cover your spouse until the divorce is final, after 6 mos.

No. She left let her take care of her own bills now.Maybe she will see just how nice it was to have a partner to help out with the bills.

No you should not.
She wants to be on her own, she needs to experience what on her own means. Don't soften the blow, or expect her to show up at your house in a teddy every time she needs rent money.

Depends,Did you do something to make her leave?
If you screwed up, then you should keep paying for insurance, but if she left (no fault of yours) then no, let her pay her own way.

Yeah, if kids are involved then it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. But if not, then heck no.... if she is leaving you, obviously she is independant enough. I hope all works out for you.
