Because my snail is not getting enough calcium?? haha i thought maybe it would work!

Yeah, go to Petco (or your nearest aquatic pet store) and get liquid calcium. Its in a Bottle and you add a few drops per 5 or 10 gallons of water (each brand has different instructions... they are on the back). Also, some pet stores sell algea pellets, which are dried thingies made out of algea that are about dime sized and flat (so they arent really pellets) that you could put in your tank to make sure your snail is getting enough food. The liquid calcium should be safe for your other fish too.

Uh... the water would get a nice fruity flavor? lol I would stick to using liquid calcium or buying special snail food. Both of which you can find at your nearest pet store.

I really don't think that it would hurt your fish, but I'm not sure that your snail would be interested in it because of the flavor. I guess you could try and see, but it would probably be best to contact someone who knows more about snails.

i like a reef product called
purple-up i use it on my freshwater tanks too, its very good for raising calcium
