I already posted saying I missed about 5 pills and stuff and I dont want to sound like I think "it cant happen to me" (about getting pregnant) but, I've missed two pills in a row before and not gotten pregnant, so it makes me wonder if I even CAN get pregnant. I mean, maybe it will all be ok ... maybe I am infertle? (idk how to spell that).. do you think being that I *HAVE* missed pills before that I could be infertle since I havent gotten pregnant in the past??? It isnt as if we are trying for a baby and I dont know if a doctor can tell without extensive tests if a woman is fertile or not? So maybe I am just infertle and dont know it? What do you think?

You ar3e probably not infertile, however you may not be as fertile, or your significant other may not be as fertile as other men. Either way it just may be more difficult to get pregnant, but don't ever count it out. It could happen anytime, when you least expect it. Good Luck!

I personalty understand how you feel. One time I went crazy and decided screw it I don't want to use any birth control. I didn't get pregnant and at this time I was seeing several guys (don't judge guys it was seriously some emotional issues driving me) I went on like this for months literally. Then I got pregnant with a real jerks baby. Then I found out that I had a molar pregnancy there was no baby just an overgrown placenta (its actually a form of cancer) Then to my amazement I met a great guy (who I married) and miscarried at six weeks. I thought the same as you maybe I cant have a baby. Now I have wonderful twin girls. Now I told you my story so you know your not alone in how you feel. Ill tell you you probably are not infertile sometimes it just takes awhile there are only three days every month that you can actually become pregnant. If you really are worried ask you OB.

Just because you missed some of your birth control pills and didn't get pregnant doesn't mean you are infertile. You shouldn't worry about being infertile until you have been off the pill for 2 months and then try to get pregnant for at least 8 months without getting pregnant. Then you can start being worried about being infertile.
Sometimes it takes up to 4 months for the pill to completely get out of your system and the longer you were taking birth control pills the longer it might take for your system to become normal again. With some women who have been on the pill for 4 or more years it can take up to 1-2 years before they conceived a child.
So don't fool yourself. Your not infertile until you have tried to have a baby for 8months or longer.

you prolly aren't infertile. If you have been on the pill for more than a year or even six months, then the stuff is in your system. After getting off the pill it can take months and even years to get pregnant because of all the buildup. My best friend had this problem as well as her sister and a few other people that I know as well. Thats why I don't do pills...

Most insurances won't pay for an abortion until it was once rape or incest or you may also die at the same time carrying the baby. Mainly Aetna- that is crappy coverage and so they don't pay for something. Why don't you keep in mind giving it up for adoption alternatively than killing it. I realize that pregnancy could be a complicated factor chiefly if you do not want the little one but there are such a large amount of persons in the market that would love to have youngsters that can't and also you mustn't take the life of an harmless youngster in view that of your errors.

well sometimes it takes a while to conceive you just have to get it on the right day i have 3 kids and with all of them we had sex every other day for six months and that is how long it took for a positive test but if you don't want to get pregnant id try to have a routine to remember your pill or find new birth control because missing pills you could have an oops when you least expect it hope this helps

it can take a long time to get pregnant even if your young and trying so your best bet is to not assume you are infertile and keep on taking your pills or maybe something youd be a little less likely to forget like depo or an iud otherwise those skipped pills may one day come back to bite you in the a**

I wouldn't worry about right now. It's not until you've been actively trying for 12 months that you should start to worry. Took me 2.5 years to fall pregnant naturally.
Having said that - if you aren't ready to have a baby, try not to miss those pills!

I wouldn't worry just yet. It can take up to 30 days of being completely off the pill to get pregnant. However,skipping pills can throw your body off cycle and cause you some problems.
