I live in California. It's a big state, so it really depends on where in California you are, but from where I am...
Good points : weather, employment, attractive women, things to do
Bad points : Smog, too many people, traffic, high cost of living

I kindda like it.. I've been here over 20 years (displaced rural PA boy) Love the weather.. earthquakes are a piece o cake compaired to major thunder storms or tornados in the east or midwest.. its expensive though... people are a little irritating but not enuff to really make a difference.. just talk REALLY slow etc... everyone is a LITTLE to mellow.. but ya get used to it... Winters are mild (even in the Sierras).. and well almost everything is legal if you have a few $... or can afford the right lawyer at least..
I like it anyway.. I'm still here arent I?

The state? I have never been there. I would like to go though. From what I know I would say that it is a good place. I am sure the people there are more open minded and care more about the opinions of all people rather than just the white, rich, bible belters that live in my town.

A sunny day, warm in the sun shine, and cool in the shade, if you are in the Norcal, then you are able to go skiing and beach really easy. Clean air, very little people smoke, nice and moist air. Warm in the day, cool at night. You should go and try it your self

I live in Australia, and get the impression it has palm trees, lots of sun & nice beaches... probably wrong huh? Maybe I got it mixed with Miami or something or even Hawaii... (>.<)

Glad it's there to make movies, though.

definitely good i visit there every year and its a blast! every1 says that the celebrities live there, the weather is awesome, surfers!, hot ppl live in cali, everything coming from cali is good

Depends on where you are. Los Angeles-bad. Other places-pretty good.
