"Alaskans for Global Warming!" - local bumper sticker.

Honestly, I *do* see significant changes around here. When you see all the marshes turning brown, it's really sad. But on the other hand, we had the coldest January in over 30 years last year - and in central Alaska, that is saying something.

I certainly see signs of the earth changing, but I'm not ready to buy into the hype yet. I remember in the 70s, the scientific community was all up in arms about the coming of the next Ice Age. It was all gloom and doom - disaster was just around the corner!! Now they're doing it with global warming.

I lived at 8,000' for many years, and when I first moved to that altitude, a hot day in the summer was 80 or so. Two years ago it was 101! We can expect more of the same in the future, especially wild extremes of heat, cold, storms, droughts, etc. Actually the term global warming is misleading and too narrow, as a lot more will be happening than that our world is very gradually rising in temperature.

certain it has change right into a faith and Al Gore is the pope of the cult.imagine of ways a lot funds particular communities will make off of the hype.imagine of all that authorities funds going to "study".besides there is merely a lot you could do ,in spite of everything whoever controls the elements controls the international.worry is the acceptable political motivator. climate change is portion of the nature of the planet.effortless sense is to have sparkling means yet until eventually there's a dollar in all of it that occurs is communicate, communicate and extra communicate.authorities guidelines, fines and consequences(gotta get that bailout funds someplace) We truly favor sparkling air and water .i'm the unique recycler and that i do not waste means clone of many different human beings.i exploit means and do not bypass for the "guilt" holiday of doing so. I actually have an issue with Gore the guru who flies round a gasoline guzzling jet.So does Queen Pelosi who opted for a higher one to fly decrease to and fro to California.undergo in ideas her conserving she needs to shop the planet, yeah she flies we stroll.we are able to all commence with assistance from using the hot means saving mild bulbs. Oh I forgot they're those with mercury in them.Oh,nicely sounds like a good idea on the time. i wager you all heard that some genius flesh presser needed to tax cow farmers for any that personal more effective than 100 for emitting "methane gas" yeah it is authentic.can we bottle it as a change?Or on second idea deliver some from the bull to that flesh presser as he's conscious of the B.S. even as he sees or smells it.

We are in fact nearing the end of the current inter-glaciation period.
The current spike in CO2 will cause a short spike (on a paleogeologic scale) in the Earth's average land surface temperature.

The consequences are not yet known, however, many will be affected for as long as one thousand years.

It may lead to extinctions, hopefully, our species can survive!

Very cold winter here in Northern California. But methinks it's El Nino, not ManBearPig.

It's 20 degrees where I am. Maybe Gore should come here and spew some hot air out of his big yap.
