What do you guys think of nurses. Give me some words that come to mind. If you could also tell me your gender and your age. It's for a school project

I am a 48 yr old Registered Nurse, and have been for the past 17 years. I can only say from an actual nurses' point of view, is that we are more important to a patient, than the doctor himself. From a recent Gallop poll, nurses were rated as #1 for who people trust the most. Doctors may spend a few minutes (if the patient is lucky) with their patient, but it is the 'nurse' who provides all of the care (not just physical care, but emotional care as well).

When I hear the word nurse... I think of caring, patient, multi-tasked, respected, personable, knowledgeable, doctor's assistant, white clothes, cold hands, Mother-like, etc.

Hope this helps and is what you were looking for.
