I have fresh water mystery snail and I was wondering if I can just keep him in a bowl??

Most mystery snails can breathe air, and are prone to going looking for better digs if water quality is bad. Also note these are tropical snails and should be in water up 70F.

PS- Note that mystery snails are really about 50 different species. This includes the apple snail.

if you keep them in a bowl you gotta change two thirds of the water for fresh water every day so they can get enough oxygen to survive.
It would be way easier to get a cheap bubble pump and then they will thrive and be happy! If u got a pump u could add some goldfish too.

yeah you can use the water for a snail but , i gotta tell you that snails do crawl out the water sometimes .

They do need filtered water or at least frequent water changes. Ammonia can kill them just like it will fish.

you dont need a filter just dechlorination and a nice lid these guys can climb out of a bowl,
