Current (I) = Volts (V) ÷ Resistance (R)

I = V ÷ R = 6 ÷ 12 = 0.5 Amps

Current = volts divided by resistance.

6V / 12 ohms = 0.5 amps

um... kid... there's a resistance movement called 'ohm' out there - they're a ~HIGHLY~ hunted group that i've only heard about in passing @ a hacker convention. (and it's impossible to find anything on 'em via google search)
as far as your question - dont know what to tell ya, i know very little about electricity :D
