You just sit her down on the front steps and tell her...
You ARE going to tell me whats going on.If you can't tell me then I am going to tell my mom and she will get it out of you.
I think she will crack!

1. Maybe she is making the problem up for more attention. This happened to me once, a girl I knew said her parents were getting divorced so we would all feel bad for her, but they really weren't, she just wanted sympathy.
2. Maybe the problem is really personal, and she is embarrased to talk about it. Such as she got raped, or saw something done to her mom by her dad, or something creepy like that.
3. Maybe she doesn't feel like you are that good of a friend. Sorry to say it, but if it is none of the above and she STILL won't tell you, maybe she just thinks of you as a friend or nice kid, but not as a best bud.
4. Don't act so interested in it. Maybe she wants you to know, but doesn't want you to keep asking her to tell you. Just say "If you don't want to tell me, it's okay, but if you ever need to talk, I'm right here."

Just give her a big hug.. and assure her that you'll be
behind her whatever and whenever, that you love her and
treasure her as a friend ..
Tell her when she's ready she can tell you and trust you..
And you will support her..

Assure her that you'll be there for her if she does want to talk, but don't push her into talking. She will tell you when she's ready, but if you pester her before then, she'll push you away. Hope this helps!

Sometimes we cant predict things. She should be the one who choose her path n not u. so u should not bother too much. the only thing u can do is talk wif her BUT u cant choose her path.

mayde she knows already what you can do that is why your bestfriend don't want to tell you, for now just try to console and comfort her because i think that's the only thing you can do
