I believe if you check, it's the insurgents who are killing the majority of Iraqis. I believe the majority of people the American soldiers are killing are Iranians. Do you object to them killing Iranians?

might want to we be there right this moment? no notwithstanding, we may might want to be there for a lengthy time period to come back on the fringe of killing as many innocuous civilians as Saddam did. there are a great number of polls attempting to make sure out the type of innocuous deaths the individuals brought about with huge differences in each and every poll. soilders are held responsible for each thing they do. so if there's a incorrect doing it is going to come out merely as some have. The worst section for them is that if/when we go away it receives lots worse.

I do not believe that America needs to feel "reimbursed" for Sept. 11, 2001. I do believe however, that the political and civil unrest in Iraq is getting worse and worse, and sectarian violence is still sweeping that nation. With innocent Iraq citizens suffering for it. As a proud veteran of the US ARMY for almost eleven years, and a soldier who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2003 to July 2004, I feel as though America is trying to ensure that the violence from those who wish to do our country harm, do not wind up in our country. The violence that is so deeply embedded within Iraq now, is testimony to the religious beliefs that each faction is embracing. Shite, Sunni, and others are all trying to stake their claim upon the Iraqi nation. Our American forces are over there, trying to keep collateral damage to a minumim. Unfortunately, the violence is springing up in more and different areas all the time. Now all the worse with the execution of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. The troubles over in Iraq are no longer from a cruel dictatorial megalomaniac, but now to each religions faction's desire to ultimately rule all the nations of Islam. Iraqis are dying over there, not because of our American forces, but becuase of their fellow Iraqis.

I guess it depends on what numbers you are looking at. Even antiwar sites like http://www.iraqbodycount.net/ put the civilian death count around 60,000. And the Iraqi military that have died wouldn't even approach the 1 million mark.
That being said. Only the death of Osama would have been reimbursement. Al Quada deaths are also good. But the senseless deaths of Iraqi's, and our military in Iraq, is meaningless. The fight against terrorism could have, and should have stayed in Afghanistan and possibly Pakistan. Instead we have no handle on Iraq, Afghanistan, and terrorism in general.

You've been listening to Hanoi Jane and others drinking too much cool-aide. Stop reading the New Times, stop listening to CBS News, CNN and all other bleeding heart liberal news agency. Fox News is not number one for a reason. Every day they report both sides of an issue with verifiable facts. What's going on in Iraq is not a matter of revenge. Put down that cup of cool-aide.

It is clear that you don't have a clue as to what this war is all about.
I guess that you would rather have Sadam still in power. He would kill anyone that got in his way. His son's would still be raping women, then feeding them to their tigers. And what about those prisons that we liberated that housed the children of people that Sadam wanted to keep in line.
Do you realize that if the Islamic extremists were given the chance that they would kill all the liberals first. They hate you most because you don't believe in anything.

Try to keep in mind that the major majority of the Iraqis were killed by the suicide bombers, not attacks by US forces.
