The us is in Iraq so they don't have another 9/11 and so they will get the Job done right this time many people may say the only reason we in Iraq is because of oil that is not true if we just let them do whatever they want they might come to the U.S and kill millions of people i know that and i am only 13 years old i seen to be smarter than some of these people

The Neocons decided that they wanted to control the oil resources of the middle east. Funny thing is that these extremely intelligent men (really) forgot to study anything about the middle east before they started this nightmare. But the bottom line is to control the oil.
The conservatives and republicans and Terrorism freaks would have you believe we would have invaded Iraq if there primary product was pickles and lettuce. Ever wonder why genocide is allowed to take place in African countries without oil. Ever wonder why we support dictators as long as they are selling us oil.

Where do you think he got the Gas to kill the Kurds. From the USA. We created Saddam. We gave Saddam the go ahead to invade Kuwait. Then we changed our minds. He agreed to withdrawl and have talks. We told him to pound sand. You really need to quit watching fox news and read some real history.

um well this is a multi faceted answer.
1 because saddam hussein was a terrible person who much like hitler killed the people of his country whenever they disagreed with him and controlled his people through fear and torture.
2 we have proof that he was helping the terrorists of the 911 attacks, i mean a afghan terrorist did not just happen to get wounded in afghanistan and then make a wrong turn and end up in a baghdad hospital. nothing happened in iraq without saddams say so.
3 and most imprtant for americans to understand is that the first time we went to irag we signed numerous treaties with iraq, those treaties were not signed with the UN as CNN and ABC and CBS would have you believe, in fact those treaties were signed with the USA. they were very specific in their wording that if the treaties were violated the USA would come back to iraq and take saddam out of power. he violated them 37 different times. so we went back. while there we destroyed buildings and infrastructure, so now it is our responsibility to rebuild. with the power that the USA has comes serious responsibility. it is our responsibility to fix as much as we can.

The theory was the administration was attempting to secure a future source of oil supply couple this with the lucrative benefit of war profiteering among all of their cronies in the oil and engineering sectors who heavily financed their campaign.

All great on paper however the stooges overlooked one minor problem that really isn't that minor. Everyone in their culture wield automatic weapons like AK47s.

Well when Saddam invaded Kuwait the coalition went in and sent him back to Baghdad. He promised the UN that he would play nice, but for 13 years he did nothing but snub the resolutions and put the UN, France and Russia on his payroll to play a blind eye to his antics. Every now and again Clinton would bomb something to make liberals think he was doing something. Anyway, he kept getting worse and the reports were coming out of the mass graves and murders of whole villages use WMD's, so since he was not following the rules of the game, we were then cleared to go back in and get rid of him this time. Now since the new government has come in to play, we now have Iran dicking with them, so that needs to be taken care too. This is the short answer.

You haven't figured it out?We have been in this war for 4 years now and you are just asking that question?

Sadam refused to abide by the UN resolutions for 14 years.

He was shooting at our plans in the no fly zone

He along with the united nations were involved with the oil for food scandal..,ask Koffee Anon and France and Germany who was giving Sadam money and weapons for the oil.

He gassed hundreds of thousands of his own people not to mention what he and his sons were doing with thier rape rooms and torture chambers.

He also had Al Qaeda training camps, altho we found this out publically after the war started.

Do you need any more reasons?
