What's your zombie plan?

If zombies were to start to take over the Earth, what is your plan to stay alive? Where would you go? What would you do? Please give as detailed answers as possible! I want to hear what you would do!

But why is the believe that zombie can be killed with the brain gone?
Does it mean to say they can think like for example you dig a hole in the ground and attrach the zombie, the zombie will go around the hole and get you?
Than the best way is to join them just that you dietary is different that all.

For me I think I will steal a big enough boat for the family and sail to places which has highly shark infested water(just in case people die and turn into zombie while they float around in the sea).
I will think that zombie can't swim so docking once a while near shore and swim to some island to gather fruit and hunt animals will be my ideal food/water source.

If the siege is small enough, you won't have to move out of your house. First, you’d wanna move all your available supplies (food, water, weapons, etc) up on the second floor. If you don’t have one, then move up to the attic. If you don’t have one of those, go to the roof. Then, destroy the stairs. From there, kill as many zombies as you can, by means of a headshot. (The only way to “kill” a zombie is to destroy the brain) If you can kill all attacking zombies, good for you. Kick back, relax, and think about how you just saved the human race. However, this most likely won’t be the case. Live there as long as you can. Move out only if you run out of supplies, or the zombies find a way on to your floor. It’s okay if they enter the first floor, so long as the stairs are gone.

However, this won't work in a Class 4 outbreak. (An attack on a global scale) If this happens. you want to move into the most remote part of the world you can find. The best thing to do is find somewhere like this before the outbreak happens. Get a good strong house built there, and make sure it’s got land you can farm. You might be living there for a while.


As for weapons you’d want, most people would think that the biggest, fastest weapon is the best. They are wrong. The only way to kill a zombie is to destroy the brain. Conservation of ammo is second only to survival, and you can survive with a slower weapon. If there was a best gun, it would probably be the semi-automatic rifle. Good range, and one bullet fired every time you pull the trigger. Fast, but not too fast.

With melee weapons, pretty much any sharp object or bludgeon can be used.

Bludgeons are heavier than bladed weapons, as they need the force to crush the skull. Things like sledgehammers and pipes are strong, but are too heavy for those on the move. Weapons like metal baseball bats are good for one or two fights, but start to bend after a while. One of the best bludgeons is the crowbar. Not only can you smash zombie skulls with it, you can also use it the way it was designed to be used.

Among bladed weapons, two of the best ones are the katana and the machete. The katana has good range, and is a strong weapon, but might be harder to find and be expensive. The machete is cheaper and much more common.

Melee weapons to avoid are power tools, like drills and chainsaws. Many people think they are the best weapons against zombies, but they're not. What happens when you run out of fuel? The weapon becomes about as useful as a hand held stereo. Carrying more fuel increases weight, and the chainsaw weighs about ten pounds already. Also the spinning teeth of a chainsaw can't tell the difference between zombie flesh and your flesh.

Also, never use fire. Many people have made this mistake, and most have paid with their lives. While it is one of our greatest weapons against the undead, it is also a great threat to ourselves. Nothing will survive if the fire burns out of control, and keeping control of it is nowhere near as easy as it sounds.

Guns are OK, but fire and edged weapons rule the day. Keep in mind that even the finest katana could only behead so many people before needing a polish/sharpen...so stash many in the trunk. Gasoline is your friend as well. Grab any bottles and cloth that you find and make some cocktails!

You'll want to keep your distance and take advantage of the fact that they are slow movers. They'll try to squeeze into small areas all a once and create a bottleneck which gives you some time. Set up obstacles as well.

Ultimately if you want to survive, take a boat to a small island and deal with what is there. If you want to have fun then load up and head into the first crowd you see and go crazy. I don't recommend that one.
