does it take you want to get in another relationship after you been devoriced? see there a guy i like he getting devoriced.. His soon to be his ex wife which is in her late 40's went after a 22 year old.. im just wondering how long would it take him to heal from that.

Well I have been divorced six years now and not dating anyone (by choice) so it depends on how well the guy takes the divorce.Just remember that if you do get together he will probably have allot of issues to deal with so don't be surprised if it doesn't work out.

Heck, my son-inlaw wanted a divorce last year after 16 yrs. of marriage, and he remarried 3 mos later. He did not have time to get depressed. We figured this romance was going on for some time without even a hint!

If he is depressed then he needs counseling and help to get over and past this... This will take him time... No time frame... He should not even start dating until he can get past the pain and depression of this... Trust me he does not want to go into any relationship with baggage or on the rebound as they dont last.

It may take him awhile to recover from being hurt so bad. For now just try to be a really good friend to him. His heart may be broken and his pride bruised as well. Give him some time and space. Even though they act tough men can feel crushed as well as a woman.

it may take some men long as it do us women 1 waited a few years after i divorced my kid's daddy before i married my 2nd husband
