I'm personally going to recycle more and try to conserve water by taking shorter showers. I also am trying to keep my plants alive, which is more than I can say for some people.
If you ever need ideas for saving the Earth go to your local library and check out a few books on the environment. Not only are they informative but they're also really interesting.
Try making a donation to a wildlife foundation if you truly want to help improve the environment.
Good luck!

I am going to continue to replace my incandescent light bulbs with fluorescent. I'm going to buy Energy Star refridgerator, and I'm going to investigate the possibility of a new Energy Star furnace (I'm not sure if I have the money to do that, however). I also am considering hanging some of my clothes on a liner outside, but my kid has allergies, and so it will be just limited as far as that goes. I also am going to start composting which I haven't done since I moved into town five years ago.

As far as work goes, I'm a groundwater specialist, and I spend a lot of time educating people on groundwater protection, and I will continue my efforts there.
