Many people figure that if you use any number to find a coincident behind it, you will find common numbers in all the situations. Such as their age may be 23, or the date of some event may have fell on on 2nd of March. Is there any common sense left or do they (The advertisers behind "23") believe we (the public) are guilible?

I agree with you. It's all random coincidence. It does not matter whether X is 23 or 26 or 69 or 1 or some other number. You can always find some kind of coincidence involving that number. Further, any number is expressible in terms of 23 and 28. That's true with any two relatively prime numbers. But Biorhythms seems to make a special point of it, insisting therefore there have to be magic cycles of 23 and 28 days.

It does matter the number of answers. Your question yielded only 4 answers so far. The question asking about 69 pulled in only 7 answers. I asked the same question here in Yahoo, using X = 26, and got only 3 answers. But the same identical question with X = 23 got 1189 answers! Apparently people have an insane fascination with 23. It's prime, but otherwise it is just like any other number.

They believe with all their hearts and all their soul that enough of them can be convinced to go and see the movie. Probably out of the same curiosity that they read and saw "The DaVinci Code".
They know that it's just rubbish, but a reasonably entertaining story might come out of it.

They've stooped lower than I ever would have thought. Numerology? Blahhhhh, that stuff is something a homeschooled 5 year old wouldn't believe in.

Or just stockpile on my old movies or something. Movies nowdays arn't very good anyway.
