All plants produce radioactive sugars. It's from the carbon 14. This is the unstable isotope of carbon that they use for carbon dating. So, in short, any plant that produces a sugar will produce a radioactive sugar in very low quantities.

Don't worry about the radioactive effects of carbon 14. It's always around, and it's in very low levels.
