I have no experience, and am changing careers.

There is no way to definitvely tell you if you will land a NetAdmin job or not, but you're definitely on the right track. As with most occupations, proven experience tends to weigh in the best but with your credentials you certainly have a shot at this type of work. Your chances should also take into consideration the SIZE of a prospective network (in house, head-end/enterprise-wide, etc) and how many of these positions are tradionally open in your area. Also if your area of study is computer related (IT, IS, CE, etc) this will help exponentially. Best of luck!

Not automatically, but it might help. Most companies look for admins with experience. You might have to get a more entrylevel helpdesk job to start, but if you are good, you should be able to rise up quickly.

definetly not easy to get a good networking job with no experience. depending on your metropolitan area you will get around $30K if you land a job
