One source said that he is 5'5'', but I'm having a hard time believing it. I mean just look at him in Casino; Robert De Niro is only 5'8'' and there was a considerable height difference between them.

According to wikipedia.com, Joe is reported as being about 5'4" or sometime 5'5".
One thing worth noting is that if you measure your height in the morning and then in the evening, there might be a variation. Maybe thats why there are 2 heights that are reported for Joe...and possibly others!!!

actually joe pesci is 5'4. when i was 16, my hands could fit his hand prints at the display in front of the planet hollywood in toronto.
