One great visualization to lessen a curse is to hold a knife or scissors and envision dark tendrils of energy stuck to you and stretching away toward whatever source may have created the curse. Use the knife or scissors to cut those tendrils. Repeat every few days, then every few weeks, as they grow weaker.
Another is to take a piece of parchment and write out why you think you are cursed. Write that if someone in your bloodline has harmed anyone in the past, you apologize. Then write "Enough. It is done," and burn the paper. Scatter or flush the ashes.
One way used in old cultures is to hang little mirrors on the corners of your house. The idea is to reflect the bad magic back at whoever is sending it.
A fourth way? This may seem really silly, but it can work. Laugh at it. Try to come up with some kind of jokes about it. Name it something like "The Flinkle Curse," or something equally silly sounding, and everytime something goes wrong, say "I've been flinkled!" and, if possible, laugh at it. Laughter is one of the best forms of power. More importantly? Whenever ANYTHING goes right, validate it outloud. Say, "Take that, Finkle!" or "Guess Flinkle was asleep, that time!" By saying things like that outloud, you are diminishing the curse and empowering your luck.
Good luck!

IF IN DEED your family had been cursed, you will have to make a public request to The Powers That Be asking for their concern in the matter. Your request can not be a selfish one or one that is centered around your own gain nor can you offer any promises in return for their concern. You may ask but you may not recieve. You will need to judge carefully if you wish to call their attention in your direction also--sometimes it is best to remain nameless to them unless you are prepared to pay the consequences.

My family is cursed too! My Great Grandma cheated and concieved a child with a married man. She then got married to give the child a legit name. Children out of fornication and sin never result in anything. My grandma (my great grandma's daughter) has had 5 husbands all but one are dead. I believe we are all facing the wrath of our ancestors mistakes. History has repeated itself. I am now the product of my mother's sin as she learned no better then her mother.
We can all fail. If we live by God's rules then we can save future generations. I am tired of History repeating itself but I know no better.
