I got off Yasmin due to headaches, neausea and then I had a heavy period for 3 months straight. I missed my period for about three months, got on Low Estrin, for two months and got off Low Estrin. It has been 4 months since and I am 2 months late on my period, I'm not pregnant. My body has totally changed. I got symptoms that I was about to get my period, I saw a small stain but nothing really. Has anyone experienced this HELL with Yasmin?

Off Yasmin, spoke with OBGYN, got on Low Estrin for 2 months as told, and now off BC and having issues obtaining a period. Yasmin was great for 6months then it was HELL, I got off of it. 2 of my friends were OK and now they are off due to recent side effects, such as mine. Weight Gain for sure as well!

Not personally but we have had many patients go through this. Sometimes changing your BC will change your menses all together. But we have had allot that complain of headaches form Yasmin. The new BC pill that ,that company makes is called Yaz ,It's supposed to be new and improved and better for the patients. You might want to talk to your Dr about it or try a new BC al together. The Patients that we had switched have had no problems thus far. Good luck to you......

When researching birth control pills, I found a lot of complaints from women that Yasmin caused irregular periods and headaches and they often chose to switch pills. But some seemed fine with it. It seems that some work for one individual and not for other, I guess that's why there are so many different kinds. Hope everything works itself out for you.

Oh my gosh- I just started taking Yasmin last week.......... hope I don't get those symptoms!

Well call your doctor, that's not normal- maybe you need a pill with low hormones- but definitely call an advice nurse now and set up an appointment to see an obgyn!
