Why do Liberals and Democrats feel it's o.k. to put President Bush down for having had an substance problem, but when Clinton admitted to smoking pot and obviously lied about inhaling, and cheated on his wife They just said It makes him a real person. So why doesn't what Bush did make him a real person? I perosnally don't think one is any better than the other for what they did.

Double-standards.
Look at how they talk to and about Condi Rice, who holds the highest office *ever* held by a black woman. Had a Democrat appointed her, and a Republican talked to/about her the way the left does....they'd be howling with outrage.

The only comments I have seen about Bush & substances have been a very few comments on here & a very few in the press about what appear to be current behavior that could be drug related. By comparison, I have seen very many opinions blasting Clinton for his escapades.
I think you are being way too sensitive. And from your repeated edits, You aren't listening to any other opinions anyway. It is called a question to receive answers, which you obviously don't care about.
To answer your question, I have never made disparaging comments about Bush's drug & alcohol abuse, even though I thoroughly confront his politics & lying to us.

bush did coke on several occassions, clinton smoked pot once (as we know). Two very different drugs. Bush also had a DWI which is shameful these days to many people. Putting others lives in danger, could have killed children, wound up with a manslaughter charge as MADD would suggest to us. And really we just don't like Bush for a myriad of other reasons so he's fair game for any ridicule.

because the only time liberals care about right or wrong is when they can use it as a weapon against their opponents.
clinton could've shot a newborn baby in the head live on tv and the liberals would make excuses for him and the liberal media would downplay the incident. yet if a republican so much as jaywalks, liberals go on the attack and it becomes front page news for several months. liberals only care about making their side look good and their opponents look bad.

When Clinton was berated for smoking pot, conservatives were all over the issue. Many of them claimed it was proof he was unfit for presidency. When the tables were turned most conservatives looked the other way. I personally don't care either way about Bush or Clinton's youthful indiscretions, it just seems hypocritical to only care about past drug use when the candidate is a liberal.
