My shift key cam off on my Dell Latitude Laptop, and it won't stay on. What do I do?

Unfortunately when this happens on a notebook computer, you can only replace the keyboard.

Gary is right.

If the system is under warranty, contact dell.......otherwise, contact dell anyway to find a repair location.

Keyboard can be replaced in about 10 minutes.......not a difficult job for a trained tech, but an amateur can cause damage to the case if unsure of what you are doing. A case will cost a bundle and it's almost ALL labor.

see whether you can press it and pop it in * or else if you have warranty then please call dell tech support on 800-624-9896 and get it replaced
