I want to do it up right this year. I'm pretty excited about turning 40, unlike most women, and I really want to celebrate. I've been raising my three daughters for the past 24yrs. and now that my baby will be turning 18, I want to begin celebrating a new chapter in my life. A chapter that is not totally consumed with children. I love being a mom, but I was 16 when I became one. So I put my life on hold to raise 3 beautiful women. My oldest lives with her boyfriend and will be getting married in June. My middle, is going to school to become a nurse, and my baby will be going to Northwestern in the fall. She wants to be a Pediatrician. So I want to party like it's 1999!!!
I live in Chicago, and I don't have a whole lot of money, but I'm open to just about anything.

congrats!
have a great birthday!
maybe you can have a valentine theme... everyone dresses in red and each person has to bring a heart with something nice written about you on it, or a birthday greeting, whatever. you can have cinnamon liquer shooters, heart shaped snacks, red balloons..
doesnt have to cost alot if you enlist friends for party supplies.

have a great 40th!
