If he's a close friend, get him something related to his hobbies - hunting, sports, cars, etc. Something that interests him (and since you're friends, you should know what that is). If he's not a close friend, I don't think a gift is necessary.
Don't do candy or flowers or sappy cards. That's great for girls, but I don't know many straight guys who are into that.

A CD maybe, does he like music? A card? Why don't you bake some cookies or brownies for your friends and put them in those little Valentine's celophane bags they sell at the dollar store.

I accept as true with you. there's a lot of snobbery in steel & I hate it. i admire steel, am passionate approximately Iron Maiden & continually would be in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that would not propose i won't be able to get exhilaration from different forms of music. there is not any longer something incorrect with in basic terms slightly dad. i do no longer think of people get exhilaration from in basic terms how puzzling it relatively is to jot down a efficient, catchy pop music. of direction on the comparable time we would desire to get exhilaration from steel bands play rather complicated stuff so swings & roundabouts relatively. i might in spite of the incontrovertible fact that tread heavily with the concept that a lot of dad tops the charts so is for this reason stable. What you will discover is steel followers are SO unswerving that once considered one of their bands launch something they might desire to get it at present. for this reason you get a large surge of sales the 1st week then it tails off out of the chart as they have all have been given it via the 2nd week of launch! additionally us metallers prefer to have the product particularly than in basic terms a get carry of so we would in all probability watch for the album & purchase it on CD particularly than in basic terms get carry of a music or 2.

Get him something personal and cheap. Make it if you have to. I had a guy friend give me a rock he said reminded him of me. Even when he gave it to me I thought it's a rock but I guess it was a nice gesture. Well that was years ago and I still have. It didn't mean to much when he gave it to me but increased in personal value everyday.
