Remember that this "police action" - never declared a war by the U.S. Congress was called the "War to Resist America and Aid Korea". This war was very benefical not because of what the issue was at hand however rather what can about for its occurance (even though it is the forgotten war).

Pros for America:
1. America was taken off hand when this war began, therefore after the war, America increased its budget by $50 billion because they weren't prepared for the war and were caught off guard.
2. The Army was doubled because they didn't have enough men. In addition, the amounts of miliary personnel from America were increased to stay over seas to help assist in future contact.
3. This was the first war that the African American citizens were actively integrated with the Caucasian Americans. It was by President Truman that he signed the "Executive Order 9981" to allow racial integration.
4. A base was set up in South Korea to help assist in affairs between North and South Korea to assist in future problems.

There are a lot of benefits that come from all wars - at least we are learning something from our history. I hope this all helps you out with your thesis statement. I would suggest you look at this information and come up with a great thesis! Good Luck!

The Korean war was America's first limited war (which means we crush them beneath our tank treads and conquer all their territory) and since then we've been fighting more limited wars. Such as Vietnam and the 1991 gulf war.
Hope this helps!!!!!!

I can't really help with a thesis right now because I'm high. You should consider titling it "Gong" because most things having anything to do with asians are funnier when you include a gong.

Or a samurai...they're pretty funny too

Consider the American defectors that went to the north during the war, to my knowledge there is only one left alive today.
