?? just wondering they were always red when i was on birth control

The blood mainly consists of red blood cells that are red due to the oxygen they carry. They go darker when they are de-oxygenated.
You can see this first hand if you cut an artery and the blood spurts out quite bright red.

If only a vein is cut veins carry de-oxygenated blood and appear darker and brownish. If you are seeing bright blood then it is fairly heavy flow and still contains oxygen. The brown color you are seeing is possibly due to a slower or lighter flow of blood due to the pill and therefore oxydises, or loses some of its oxygen on its way down the vagina from the uterus.

There is no need to think anything is wrong here it is all perfectly normal. It happens differntly for different people and differnt levels or hormones in pills. Breathe on Girl!

well dont leave it at that see your doctor as it doesnt seem right brown period take care.
