First, humans ARE animals. However, humans--people--seem to need to feel "superior" (ego problem) & many, too many, believe they have special rights. ANY life has value. Interesting that the "animals" considered to be inferior do not have the ego problems that people do. They are not mean-spirited, manipulative, hateful, or those things one sees every single day in the attitudes of "people." If "animals" have no rights, then we feel free to use & abuse them. Terribly humane, don't you think?

They don't have the same rights. Humans are only superior because we are able to function better, we're smarter and we can reason. SO of course we have more rights because we have the choice to give ourselves more rights than animals. We seem to pay no attention to the laws of nature, giving every living thing on this planet equal rights. So we automatically put ourselves above them. There are some people, though, that give animals TOO many rights. Animals are happiest in their natural habitat, not stuck in cages or behind bars.

I am sorry but no, I feel that they kind of should have the same rights as humans, but man and women are above animal and they should not be above us. They have limits and we have limits, but animals cannot do as much as human can do, so I guess I would say no. Thankyou!

All animals deserve to be treated in a humane manner, whether they are pets, wild animals, food animals, etc.
They do not have the same rights as humans. They obviously can't vote, drive cars, etc.

No they don't thats why we can kill an animal and not get in trouble for it unless we didn't do it for the sake of the animal.
Meaning if its not sick or in pain then whoever did it could get in trouble for it only if someone was willing or wanting to report it.
