Hmmm, let's see---March through January. We may as well add February back to the list, since we do the whole Lincoln/Washington "Presidents' Day" thing. And February was the only month we black folks could get, because it's the shortest month of the year. The Asian and Hispanic population managed to get some recognition too. We're all fightin for a piece! LOL. My question: When is Native American month? Since the white man stole everything from them, that's the least they could get, in addition to the casinos and the reservations.

January through December, Andy.

How often did you learn about Black History (outside of slavery), Native American (outside of Columbus' "discovery"), Asian History (outside of the rails) or Latino History (outside of Texas) in your American History class in grade school, high school or college?

Never.

This is why various months are designated to various ethnicities.

I guess it's cheaper than putting accuracy and fairness in text books!

It comes in between June and July. And it only lasts for about 15 seconds, so make sure you're wide awake or you'll miss it!
