Usually occurs about two years after your breasts develop and between 4 and 6 months after the growth of your pubic and underarm hair.
If you haven’t got your period by the time you are 15 or 16, though, you should make an appointment with your doctor to determine if there are any underlying problems. Many girls who are underweight or undernourished will not get their periods. It is generally thought that a certain weight (around 100 pounds) must be attained in order for your brain to send signals to your body to start menstruating.

Symptoms>feel bloated, a slight headache, leg ache or backache - cramping, emotional changes

Relax. It will happen when it happens. I didn't start my periods until I was 15. Some girls are just late bloomers. And as long as your doctor is not concerned, you shouldn't be either.

I will tell you something else also. Don't be in that big of a hurry. I know that getting your period is a big deal because it means you're not a child anymore, but after the "new" wears off, it's nothing but a hassle. LOL Women spend the rest of their lives trying to find something that will make their period as short as possible, because it's such a nuisance.

So for now just enjoy not having to bother with it - and don't worry.

Some girls don't get their period until they are 16. You do not need to worry until you are over 16 and haven't gotten your period. For now consider yourself lucky as it will be with you for a longgggggggggggggg time once you do get it and there will be plenty of times when you will wish you didn't have to deal with it.

I don't think I can give you an answer, but...some people just have their periods late or...there's somethign wrong that you should tell your mom about and maybe get checked out by a gynocologist.

perfectly normal...you can't rush...it may not happen for a couple of more years...everyone is on a different time schedule. the good news is, menopause will come later for you as well.
