The only other Super Bowl that had a weather issue was Super Bowl IX.

I still think that the NFL's policy on having the Superbowl in fair weather stadiums (florida, cali, or indoors-dome) is junk. Football is played outdoors and the bad weather conditions that are sometimes encountered just add to the "legend" and "mystique" of great games. The superbowls should be awarded to any NFL stadium, sort of how the Olympics decide which city to host. Average temperatures and rain/snow history should not be a factor.

These poor guys. It's been raining ever since they took the field. How miserable. I bet they're wishing it was over and they could take a hot shower.
